How do I enter a competition?

Online Paid Route

  1. Choose the competition you want to enter.
  2. Select either:
    (a) a number or numbers from the ticket selector; or
    (b) have a number allocated to you
    (each being a separate entry)
  3. Checkout with your payment details.
  4. Note the confirmation screen and receive an email stating your Entry Number(s).
  5. Check your Entry Number(s) against the entries list at the foot of each Competition page.

Free Entry Route

  1. Choose the competition you want to enter and register online.
  2. Send your entry on an unenclosed postcard by first class pre-paid post to the Promoter at the following address: 4 Ogilvie Place, Portsoy, Banff, Scotland, AB45 2JW
  3. Include with your entry the following information:-
    • your full name
    • your address
    • your contact telephone number and email address; and
    • your chosen competition.

By entering the competitions you confirm that you are eligible to enter and accept the T&C’s.

Can I enter more than once?

Online Paid Route

Yes, you can enter as many times as you wish into the same Competition, up to the maximum stated on the Competition Page.

If you exceed the limit of entries allowed per person, you will receive a notification that you cannot enter any more into the same competition.

Free Entry Route

Each free entry must, in addition, be submitted and posted to the Promoter separately. Bulk entries will not be accepted as multiple entries and, if a bulk entry is received, it will be counted as one single entry. Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.

How do I enter for free?

Do I have to prove my Age, Identity and Place of Residence?

We reserve the right to require entrants and winners to prove their age, identity and place of residence. See the Privacy Policy and the T&C’s.

How is the winner picked?

When the competition closes, it will appear on the closed competitions page. You will be able to see a list of all the entries. Please follow us on social media and make sure to have your notifications on. The draw will be live and employ the Google Random Number Generator (or similar). The winner will usually be called up during the live draw.

How is the prize delivered?

After the winner is announced, we will get in touch to arrange a suitable time and date for delivery of the Prize. If the winner is local, we may hand-deliver the prize.

Can I attend the live draw?

No, but all draws are carried out either on our social livestreams or they will be drawn randomly and automatically.

What if the winner does not respond on the live?

We have all the contestants’ contact information so, if we cannot get hold of them on the live draw, we will certainly get in touch with them afterwards.

What happens if a competition doesn't sell out?

In the event that less than 100% of the available raffle Entry Numbers have been chosen or allocated (whether online or via the free entry route) by the time and date stated on the Raffle Page the draw will continue as planned and winner selected.

However, when clearly marked as a condition of an individual raffle (on the raffle page) We reserve the right to:-
(a) extend the Closing Date not more than four times, each extension not to exceed the original raffle period, and not to be beyond the longstop closing date mentioned on the Raffle Page.

How do I remove my saved cards?

Go to your account dashboard by clicking on My Account, then on Payment Methods. There you can remove any saved cards.
